The inner side of this old bronze helmet is very narrow. Artec Spider was able to scan it perfectly and in high detail, while other scanner would usually struggle and stumble with such narrow space. In the space of 15 minutes, the spectrum of colors of the aged bronze has been captured and faithfully brought to life in this stunning 3D model. The transverse crest of the helmet signified the high status of the helmet’s owner, while the extended coverage over the cheeks and neck of the centurion certainly saved many a life in the days when this helmet design was most popular.
