Period of PURPLE Crying….

The Period of PURPLE Crying is an educational program aimed to raise public awareness of normal newborn crying. Healthy infants can cry a lot in the first 5 months of life, this phase is called the Period of PURPLE crying.  The word PERIOD means that the crying has a beginning and an end.

Seasonal Flu Vaccine Safety and Pregnant Women

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends routine immunization of pregnant women with the flu shot at any stage of pregnancy.  The CDC states that pregnant women have a higher risk for serious complications from the flu than non-pregnant women. Getting a flu shot  helps to protect pregnant women, their unborn babies, and protects the baby after birth from the flu. If you are pregnant, please talk to your healthcare provider about the flu shot. More information on the Flu vaccine safety and pregnant women

Mom’s Morning Out – A support Community for New Moms
