healthy baking substitution

Flax Egg

May 4, 2017May 4, 2017 by NCNW

Save some calories and make a healthy fat swap when you use a flax egg instead of a regular whole egg in cooking or baking.  Flax seeds are high in healthy fats, fiber, and antioxidants. Two tablespoons of ground flaxseed contain 4gm of fiber, which is 15% of your recommended daily value.
